During my recent and very fulfilling stay in Japan, I gave three recitals as well as one private concert.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the many old friends, seniors, former teachers, classmates, and family members who have warmly supported and encouraged me throughout the years.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! It has already been 30 years since I first encountered the fortepiano—a life-changing encounter.
During the concerts, my foremost wish was to become one with the wonderful fortepiano made by Mr. Otagaki and to express the unique voice and character of the instrument as fully as possible, as if it were my own voice.
I am very grateful that I was able to complete all of the concerts successfully.
The kind words, encouragement, emotions, and thoughtful responses I received from everyone are treasures that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
